Fireplaces

This is a fireplace that we built in 2000. It is a wood burning system that is also equipt with a gas line hook up. This Fireplace has an adjoining wood box that is accessible from outdoors for loading, doing away with lugging wood through the house.

This job was a 4 inch natural stone veneer using brookfield buff stone encasing a gas fireplace with steps on either side.

Tile floor below by LL Contracting.

This is a fireplace that we built using jumbo bricks that matched the exterior skirting of the house foundation. I started this post with the materials just to give some perspective to the amount of materials that are consumed in such a project.

Our original drawings had brick being laid clear up to the ceiling, but due to budget requirements we only went mantle high with the brick veneer.
