Avondale Retaining wall

The following photos are of a stone retaining wall project we completed in the fall of 2006 using 4" natural Avondale field stone facing with a Tennessee stone cap.

We installed a perimeter drain system the full length and hight of the wall that tied into the downspouts of the house diverting all runnoff safely away to lower areas on the property.

The wall was an overall 62 feet and faced with stone on both sides above grade. I took us slightly less than 3 weeks from start to completion.

Radius Concrete

The following photo set is of a small radius concrete project that we did in 2008. The homeowners at first thought that they wanted to do something in pavers but we ended up pouring it in concrete for a fraction of the cost.

They were very pleased with the result.

Liquid Oxygen Foundation

The following set of photos are from a job I was contracted to do in 2007. It consisted of an 18" thick reinforced concrete pad atop another 18" of compacted crushed concrete. We also ended up installing the the light commercial grade fence as well as the bollards.

Structural Repair 08

This is a series of photos of a structural repair performed in February of 2008. The homeowner contacted me about some settlement that was occurring in his basement. He had had settlement from 1 1/2 inches to three inches in the worst corner. I put him in touch with an engineer Marino Structural Solutions who came out and performed core samples of the sub soil. It was the engineers determination that the problem wall was built on fill and had to be removed, and rebuilt.

This project took 3 weeks complete and came in on schedule despite the cold weather.
